En cumplimiento de los compromisos establecidos en el contrato de concesión vial firmado con el Gobierno Nacional, Autopistas del Café realizó una actualización en las tarifas de los peajes que administra, enmarcada dentro de lo estipulado en dicho contrato.
Este ajuste es del 5,20%, correspondiente a la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC) publicado por el DANE.
Estas tarifas entraron en vigencia a las 00:00 horas del viernes 10 de enero.

Cabe aclarar que el decreto emitido recientemente por el Gobierno Nacional, que exceptúa el incremento en las tarifas de algunos peajes del país, no aplica para Autopistas del Café, dado que este proyecto opera bajo un modelo de concesión con compromisos específicos de financiación, mantenimiento, y operación de la infraestructura vial, señaló el vocero de Autopistas del Café
